Fully customized slip rings

Custom slip rings engineered around your rotating interface

A custom slip ring is appropriate when a standard configuration cannot meet the required transfer paths, envelope, bore, mounting, speed, duty cycle, environment, or validation plan. Slip Ring USA helps define the requirements and coordinate an application-specific configuration through global engineering and manufacturing.

When to specify a custom design

Start with the requirement that makes a standard unit unsuitable

Common triggers include mixed power and high-speed data, an unusual center opening or package, high current, multiple transfer media, special mounting, or an operating environment that requires configuration-specific review. The technical review considers the entire rotating interface rather than one headline specification.

Configuration process

From incomplete requirements to a reviewable configuration

  1. 01

    Capture the application

Document each transfer path, rated and peak loads, motion, mounting, environment, quantity, and program timing.

  2. 02

    Resolve technical dependencies

Review signal integrity, thermal load, sealing, materials, service life, connectors, and cross-domain integration.

  3. 03

    Confirm the commercial path

Finalize the configuration, validation needs, pricing, and production and delivery schedule before order.
